"Power! Photos! Freedom!"

FoMu Museum, Antwerp,Belgium, 15 February- 9 June, 2013

In 2011 Tim was asked by the Human Rights Watch to participate in
a project during the revolution in Libya. He was to document found
photographs in Libyan ministries and public buildings whilst they
were being searched for evidence to prove the regime's crimes against
humanity. Many of the photographs Tim documented in Benghazi were of
life in Libya during the Kingdom of Libya period. He captured images
with King Idris and Queen Fatima, as well as the early post-coup years
of Gaddafi in the 1970's.
Tim willingly embraced the Human Rights Watch request and
documented hundreds of photographs forty of which were later exhibited. Tim took
these photographs in Benghazi in March before his death in Misarata in April.
