The documentary “Restrepo” co-directed by Tim Hetherington and Sebastian Junger was recognised in the News & Documentary Emmy Awards, winning Outstanding Continuing Coverage of a News Story (Long Form) and Outstanding Individual Achievement in a Craft: Editing for editor Michael Levine.  The documentary was also one of six movies nominated for Best Documentary.
