Bending The Frame Exhibition

27th August 2016 - 23rd October 2016

'Bending the Frame' was an exhibition running from August to October 2016 at Fotografisk in Denmark. Tim's work 'Diary' was shown as part of the exhibition alongside a series of other documentarians, journalists and artists. The show aimed to pose the question, 'Can photography tell us something new about the world we live in?' and aimed to explore this by focusing on visual imagery which dealt with humanitarian concerns such as war, racism, migration, climate change etc. The exhibition was part of the gallery's broader focus in 2016, which analysed Globalization as a platform for discussion.

Diary was shown as part of the exhibition. In creating Diary, Tim notes 'Diary is a highly personal and experimental film that expresses the subjective experience of my work, and was made as an attempt to locate myself after ten years of reporting. It's a kaleidoscope of images that link our western reality to the seemingly distant worlds we see in the media.'
